Entry Requirements

A typical offer will require a UCAS tariff score of: 88 – 112 (Full-time)

UCAS points can be obtained through qualifications such as A levels, T levels, BTEC or an Access to Higher Education course in a relevant subject. Please list all your qualifications on the application form as you will be asked to provide copies when we receive your application.

We also accept applicants who have achieved the Access to HE Diploma (QAA approved) with 60 credits overall and 45 credits at Level 3.
We recognise that applicants who have been out of education for some time may not have the formal qualifications usually required for entry to this course. We welcome applications from those who can demonstrate their enthusiasm and commitment to study and have the relevant work experience that equips them to succeed on the course. We will assess this from the information provided in your application – in particular your personal statement – to help us decide on your eligibility for the course.

This module will require you to work in teams with allocated roles and responsibilities. You will go through the practical planning, organisational and technical considerations for the staging of a live event and in doing so gain a real depth of understanding of the stage-by-stage process of successful event management.
Global Entrepreneurship in Hospitality (20 Credits) Optional
This module develops an understanding of theories of global entrepreneurship and its application to the hospitality industry. The module will develop your understanding of the unique production – consumption characteristics in hospitality and the implications for entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship.
Intercultural Management in Hospitality (20 Credits)
The purpose of this module is to critically inspect and interpret intercultural management in hospitality settings, and in doing so taking into consideration cultural difference and diversity of the workforce.
